Sharing a Hills Christmas

A combined initiative of local churches, schools + businesses

Nicky Winter

Sharing a Hills Christmas is a combined initiative of local churches, schools and businesses in the Kalamunda region - Providing food hampers and gifts for people in need at Christmas Time.

Each year we provide food hampers to 250-300 families who are going through difficult times, as well as gifts for all family members of each family and gift bags to residents of our aged hostels. That’s over 1,000 gifts and a lot of food. For many of these people it is the only gift they will receive this Christmas.

We are constantly receiving feedback from those delivering the parcels how grateful and overwhelmed the recipients are. It’s not just that they received a present; but that the community cared enough that they reached out and helped. As a community we can make a difference. We need your help to make this possible.

You can be a part of this community initiative by donating food and gifts or by helping during packing week. Every year our helpers comment on how much they have enjoyed being part of something so worthwhile.

Donations of non-perishable food and gifts for all ages are needed for the parcels. Kalamunda Church is a drop-off point. Plus if you would like to get involved in the wrapping, packing, delivery, set up and pack down we would love to hear from you. 08 9291 7813

Thank you for helping and caring.
